HAPPY AND RESTED
Part 2
Yesterday we learned with this passage from the Bible that when we do something with all our heart it will bring us joy, and that if we fervently seek God, we will find him; and by doing these two things God will give us:
3. Rest. Once they sought God with their heart, then He brought rest to all of them throughout His territory. …and the Lord gave them rest from their enemies on every side. (2 Chronicles 15:15 NLT)
We will not have peace in our family, or at work or in church while we are away from God.
Peace and rest come when God is the center of our life and we are completely dependent on Him.
Our problems are light, our burdens are light, and the challenges are small compared to how great and Mighty our God is.
Think about it:
Is your life full of peace or stress and anxiety?
Is God the center of your life?
Do you consider yourself to be near or far from God?
