THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT THINGS MEAN
The people of Israel were not understanding what God was trying to explain to them with this illustration.
What a pity that people don’t understand what all the things that are happening in the world lately mean!
We should interpret it in the light of biblical prophecies. For example, the Bible says that in the last days wickedness, wars, etc. would multiply.
We should understand that it’s an opportunity for the following three things:
1. Opportunity for the unconverted to come closer to God.
2. Opportunity for Christians to renew their love and draw closer to God.
3. Opportunity for revival. For the church to preach to all people that Jesus Christ is the hope of this world and that we see a revival in the churches.
Think about it:
Have you ever wondered why so many things are happening in the world?
How are you taking advantage of the opportunity that God is giving us before all things to come are fulfilled?
Are you getting closer to God or are you moving away?
What are you doing to be part of the remnant of the end times?
