THE TATTOO OF GOD’S LOVE
Song of Solomon 8:6 NKJV
People sometimes get a tattoo somewhere on their body to remember a loved one.
There are others that get a tattoo to remember a painful experience, and there are others that get one to remember the revenge they would like to take because of something that happened in the past.
Thinking about different types of marks, gets me to reflect on various things:
1. That God placed me in His heart.
2. How God marked my life by going to the cross for me.
3. He marked me by the blood He shed on the cross.
4. He marked me by loving me past my mistakes, my sins, my flaws, and imperfections; above all that, He placed me in His heart.
This verse makes me think that God also desires me to place Him as a seal in my heart, that I have Him as a mark, not only on my arm but in all my being.
I take His love like a tattoo that has marked my life forever. (Not physically but spiritually.)
Song of Solomon 8:6 NKJV
Think About It:
How does it make you feel that above your errors God marked you in His heart?
In what way has God marked your life?
Do you also have God as a seal in your heart?
