By faith not by sight

BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT

……For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV)

Paul had learned to live encouraged by his convictions, and not discouraged by his circumstances.
In this world we will experience frustrating situations and it’s necessary to use our faith to see beyond the problems.

For we live by believing and not by seeing. (2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT)

We will encounter rude people and rejection, but we must not focus on them, but we must remember God’s unconditional love.
We will face a problem that seems gigantic, but our faith will carry us forward.
Let’s remember God’s promises in the Bible: He is our healer, He is our provider, He is our defender.
Faith helps us to remember the miracles that God has done in the past and to believe that God will do it again.
Living by faith doesn’t mean that we will not have fears, but that we will walk even in spite of fears.
Living by faith is when we don’t give up because of what we see in the present and are encouraged by what we see by faith in our future.
Living by faith is understanding that a problem is not the end of my movie.
Living by faith is walking, fixing my eyes on a future that is blessed, bright, victorious, triumphant, healthy, with family, with abundance, with friends, with joy, etc.

For we live by believing and not by seeing. (2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT)

Think about it:
Do you move by convictions or by your circumstances?
Do you tend to focus on the problem or on God’s promises?
How has having faith helped you?
