COMPLAINERS OR INSPIRERERS?
People tend to complain and look for someone to blame when they are in danger. Here, the people were complaining against their leader, Moses, because he had brought them out of Egypt.
However, the leader or the mentor will always have to refocus the people on God’s promises. The leader must bring peace to their team members’ hearts. The leader should inspire faith and encourage them to keep dreaming.
But Moses told them:
Most of us do not want to die, but we want to live… the question is: Why? The Lord does not give us more life so that we keep complaining. He gives us more life to live inspired and focused on the assignment He has entrusted us.
We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are those who inspire, motivate, and strengthen everyone that surrounds us. We have the key word to lift the one who was down and heal the broken hearted.
Despite the difficult circumstances, we might be facing, we need to remember that God will take care of us. Sometimes, in the middle of our own temporary pain, we can comfort others in a more profound and genuine way. Do you know why? Because God’s greatness is made evident when you can keep smiling and serving people wholeheartedly, though you are going through the fire.
Don’t be a complainer; be someone who inspires.
Think about it:
What situations have made you complain?
What can you do different to become an inspirer that cheers others up?
