WHAT DOESN’T COST ME, DOESN’T TRANSFORM ME
What does not cost me has no power to transform me.
1. There is something that is transformed in me when I dispose of something significant to give it to God.
I’m testing myself, I’m testing my faith.
Something dies in my flesh and something is strengthened in my spirit.
Confidence in material and temporal things is weakened, but trust in God is strengthened.
My convictions in God are strengthened.
Suddenly, God is more tangible in my life.
2. What I spend my money, time, strength and resources on proves what is important to me.
Think about it:
What transformation have you experienced in your life by giving something meaningful to God?
Why do you think God deserves the best?
Is God the most important thing to you? What do you mostly spend your time, money and effort on?
