THE COMPANY OF SOME FRIENDS IS POWERFUL

Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words. Job 2:13 NTV

There is power in the bonds of friends.
When a friend is suffering, the best thing we can do is not advise them but only sit with them.
Our company in the silence will show them that we respect their pain and that, as our friends, it pains us to see them suffer.
Sincere friendship, empathy, and understanding can heal a heart far above than words. I can’t explain it, but something powerful occurs. It is much easier to give up when we get hurt, but sincere friendship and company produce new strengths even when we no longer have them.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born in a time of adversity.
Prov. 17:17 NIV

Think about it:

What friends have comforted you with their company during challenging moments?
To whom have you been that friend?
Who do you think needs your company at these moments?
