Test

TEST

He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.
(John 6:6 NLT)

When I was a child, I was required by school to pass tests, (also called exams).
As a young man at school I also had to take tests, that is, exams.
As an adult in my studies I also had to pass tests.

In the same way, life has also presented us with tests throughout our entire existence.
In school I think I passed most of the tests.
But, in the tests of life, some of us have passed with good grades, while others of us barely made it by, and one or the other have failed.
The tests of life are not every year.

Sometimes we have significant problems every month, or every week and some maybe daily.
But in each of these conflicts and trials, the Lord already knows how he will help us.

Jesus was testing Philip’s faith, although Jesus already knew how he would solve it.

Turning to Philip, he asked:
“Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?”
He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.
(John 6:5-6 NLT)

Likewise, when my faith is tested I must trust that God is with me and already knows how I will pass the test.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer. 29:11 NLT)

Think about it:
Are you going through a test?
How has God helped you through tests in the past?
What is your part to pass the tests in the best way?
Do you trust that God already knows how you will pass the test?
