STANDARDS

When I think of the word standard, what comes to mind are opinions, knowledge and experiences that make up the way of thinking when judging and making a decision over something or someone.

These people were judging Jesus based on their own human opinion, and on their little experience with the supernatural power of God.
They couldn’t stand Jesus.
They thought differently than Jesus.
They had different experiences than Jesus.
They would have never understood the standard of Jesus.

The thoughts of Jesus will always be higher than human thoughts.
Lord, help me to see the world from an eternal perspective.
Give me the wisdom to form standards that look more like yours than those of human leaders.
Teach me standards that will lead me to making wise decisions as the ones you would do. I declare that I lead all of my tasks according to your standards, in harmony with your will and purpose for my life.

Think about it:
Do you judge spiritual things, or do you see them from an eternal perspective?
What things do you need to see with God ‘s eyes rather than with human eyes?
Do you make your decisions based on God’s standards or on yours?
