THE GRACE OF A NEW BEGINNING
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. they are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJV)
God’s mercy is an infinite source that renews each day. Through His grace, He offers us the opportunity to start anew. Let’s reflect on these points:
- His mercy sustains us daily:
We are not consumed by our faults or life’s challenges because God’s mercy sustains us. Each day is a reminder of His faithfulness to us, and that gives us hope. - God’s mercy is constant and renewing:
Even though we may have failed or faced difficulties the day before, God gives us new mercies every morning. They do not run out or get limited; they are available without ceasing. - His faithfulness is our security:
The constancy of God’s love and mercy reflects His faithfulness toward us. Knowing that God does not change fills us with confidence, knowing that His favor accompanies us in every journey. - God invites us to receive His grace daily:
Every morning is a new opportunity to draw closer to God with a willing heart, leaving behind the mistakes and failures of the past, and living under His grace and guidance.
