WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Many of us have pending projects and decisions we know we have to make, yet we have postponed them. Sometimes, we are waiting for the right time to do something, when the right time to make changes and to decide to follow God’s instructions is now.
Due to the radical encounter Saul had with Jesus, he was left blind for a few days. However, when Ananias prayed for him, he instantly recovered his vision. Therefore, Ananias began to tell him something like this: “Well Saul, God has already saved you and He has healed your sight, so now get up and be baptized. Then, go and share the good news with others.”
Most likely the Lord Jesus has already given you instructions to make changes in your life. Perhaps, you have wanted to start saving for your kids’ college fund or for your retirement, or you have wanted to start serving or tithing at your church, or maybe you know you need to fix a small problem in your marriage. Yet, you still have not made up your mind. I remind you that now is the time. If you don’t take the initiative now, the time God is giving you today will not come back. Again, I ask you, what are you waiting for?
Get up and do what you have been postponing in your spiritual, family or financial life. Pay attention to the conviction the Holy Spirit is placing in your spirit. Don’t expect your decisions to be made on their own, decide to do what must be done today that cannot wait until tomorrow.
Think about it:
What are you waiting for to make changes in your life?
What pending decisions do you need to make this week?
What is the Holy Spirit instructing you to do?
